Learn to Surf Programs for beginners or Intermediate Coaching Programs for surfers looking to progress.

Our After School Surf Programs are designed for kids who want to build real surfing skills while having an absolute blast in the ocean. With small group sizes, personalised coaching and the same crew returning each week, every session builds confidence, ocean awareness and technique in a safe, supportive environment. Whether they're standing up for the first time or refining their turns, there's always something new to learn and plenty of froth to be had.

    • all equipment including a selection of boards to choose from, wetsuits & rash vests (beginners only)

    • expert, friendly surf instructor

    • education on surf safety, ocean awareness, surf etiquette and how to read the waves

    • all lessons are tailored to suit the individual's surfing ability, at the start of each lesson we will get an idea of where you're at and what your individual surfing goals are so that we can ensure you get what you are hoping for out of your private lesson

  • All of our instructors are Level 1 or 2 Surf Coaches accredited by Surfing Australia. They hold their SLS Bronze Medallion, First Aid Certificate and have a current Working with Children Check. All our instructors are locals with extensive experience at these beaches. They will choose the safest, best waves to surf on, on the day of your lesson.

AFTER SCHOOL INTERMEDIATE SURF COACHING

ARVO COACHING + VIDEO ANALYSIS - 7 X 1.5 HOUR SESSIONS - $280

Your frother can catch waves… now they’re ready to surf better. Our After School Intermediate Surf Coaching Program is designed for young surfers aged 10–16 who can already surf independently and are looking to improve their technique, wave selection, confidence and ocean awareness. Surfers will work on developing their style, turns, decision-making and understanding of the lineup while surfing alongside a crew of like-minded frothers. Our coaches provide personalised feedback through video analysis, helping each surfer understand what they’re doing well and what they can improve. Lessons run from 3:30pm–5:00pm.

Participants must be 10 - 15 years old

ARVO FROTH CREW REGULARS - 6 X 1.5 HOUR SESSIONS - $390

For something fun to do after school, sign your kids up to our Arvo Froth Crew! Our 6 weeker kids are our regulars and it’s amazing to see how far they can come in that time. Our Arvo Froth Crew Regulars Program runs over 6 weeks (1 session per week) from 3:30pm each day. We pride ourselves on offering highly personalised surf lessons and our After School Surf Programs are no different. There are 4 children maximum in each program. If there are other kids in the group, your child will only be matched with those of a similar ability. Lessons are tailored to their levels and our instructors make sure each child learns something new each week.
